Teaching Fellow

September 2023 - Present

I am currently working as a Teaching Fellow at the University of Portsmouth, teaching a wide range of subjects on gaming courses. Currently, I am mainly working with the first and third-year producers. A typical day is holding a lecture on being a producer and the skills needed, then going around each of the teams checking on their progress, and working together with the producers and the team if any problems do arise.

During my year at Simcentric, I designed and implemented a wide range of different military training simulators for desktop and VR. I worked closely with clients understanding and breaking down exactly what they needed, afterwards, I would sit down with the team and create technical design documents on how each mechanic would work and how they imbed within our current systems.
